Effortlessly Create/link Items in KiteSuite with Intercom Integration

How to connect Intercom + KiteSuite?

Step 01

Log in to your KiteSuite account.

From your KiteSuite account navigate to the top left corner.

Click on the "Workspace icon." Refer to the screenshot.
Step 03

In the workspace pop-up menu, select "settings."

Select "Integrations."

Select "Intercom" from integration options, as shown in the screenshot .

Step 06

Initiate the integration by clicking on the "Add to Intercom" button, to link your Intercom account with KiteSuite.

Step 07

Review the permission request and grant access by clicking the "Authorize access" button.

This step establishes the integration between KiteSuite and Intercom.

Now to It will be redirected to Integration page on successful completion

How KiteSuite Works With Intercom?

Step 01
Navigate to your Intercom inbox page. You will find the KiteSuite app in the right sidebar.
Step 02
To create an item, click on the "Create Item" button.
Step 03
Search for the project by name and select the desired project in which you want to create the item.
Step 04
Once the project is selected, the item creation form will appear.
Fill in the required details, including Summary, Description, Item Type, Assignee, Due Date, and Priority. After completing the form, click on the "Create KiteSuite Item" button to successfully create the item. Refer to the screenshot for more details.

The newly created item will appear under the Linked Items section.
Step 06
To view the created item, log in to your KiteSuite account. Navigate to the respective project, and you will find the item in your Sprint Backlog or Board screen.
Step 07
Click on the item to see its details. The item's activity section will include a link to the corresponding Intercom conversation, as shown in the screenshot.
Step 08
You can also link existing KiteSuite items to an Intercom conversation. Click on the "Link Item" button.
Step 09
Search for the item you want to link, and select it to connect it with the conversation.
Step 10
The selected item will now be linked to the conversation.
Step 11
To unlink an item, go to the Linked Items section, click on the item, and then select Unlink.
